You are considering a vintage Winchester Model 69 22 Rimfire Bolt-Action Rifle. We assumed this gun was all-original, but upon closer inspection, we found it was professionally touched up. As such, the rifle’s metalwork is holding up nicely with no standout damage — it was refinished and cold-blued, and there are a couple of small patches of arrested rust pitting. The woodwork was nicely oiled and sanded and is defect free — the buttplate fits snuggly, and the wood-to-metal matchup is nice. The rifles magazine release is stiff, and you can pull the 10-round Winchester-branded magazine in and out without using it — however, the magazine is rock-solid and stable when cycling the action. The barrel measures 25 inches in length and includes an aftermarket front sight and rear marbles leaf sight. The bore is minty and very bright and shiny, with good rifling and no fouling or pitting.
