Winchester Model 1895 Rifle | 30-06 Springfield
You are considering a vintage 30-06 Springfield Chambered Winchester Model 1895 Rifle. It is in good shape all around though it has been sporterized. The wood is clean with no damage present — no deep cuts, gouges, or cracks. The original metal finish is still intact with no problems to be found — no rust, scratches, or other deformities. The shortened and sporterized barrel measures 21-inches in length and includes its original front sight with a marble’s rear sight. The bore is clean with no imperfections or problems — it has strong rifling and some minor fouling, no deep pitting — it has a 30-06 roll-stamped into the side near the receiver. The markings on the receiver are in good shape and look sharp, the finish has not been redone.
It has been drilled and tapped for a side-mounted receiver sight. It was manufactured in 1907.
Its serial number is 56547.
