  • Details: 1914 MFD Project Winchester 1895 Receiver and action with Oct. ’44 marked High Standard U.S. Model M1903 Barrel w/ 4-groove rifling; includes a Schnabel forend, bolt assembly, lever, trigger assembly, and tang screw –
  • Condition: Fair; the metalwork finish retains above 70% bluing, showing moderate to extensive wear, scratches, and marring on the working parts and high points, the receiver assembly shows scattered oxidation and shallow surface pitting, the left side of the receiver has been drilled and tapped in numerous locations and the takedown extension exhibits damage with a small bur protrusion; the wood forend is in Poor condition, showing typical scarring, dings, and bruising, it also exhibits repaired (filled in) screw holes from previous mounting; the bore is bright and shiny with defined rifling and a small area of frostiness near the center; this set includes many components but may be missing any number of smaller internal parts –
