US Fire Arms Manufacturing Company Rodeo SAA 45 Long Colt Revolver

US Fire Arms Manufacturing Company Rodeo SAA 45 Long Colt Revolver

You are considering a vintage US Fire Arms Manufacturing Company Rodeo SAA 45 Long Colt Revolver. It is in near new-old-stock condition. The metalworks blued finish is 95% complete with wear around the muzzle. The black plastic grips are excellent and have no damage outside of a minor chip on the right-hand side towards the hammer. The barrel measures 4-inches in length and includes a front blade sight and rear notch sight. The barrel is bright and shiny with strong rifling and no fouling or pitting (note: it has been fired through). The hammer and action function as they should and lock up nicely. These were manufactured using Colt’s own equipment in the “Blue Dome”, which was in the East Armory Building of the former Colt Armory complex. The company was dissolved in January 2017 and these replicas, which were rumored to be better than the originals are no longer being made.
