United States M1 Carbine | July 1943 | Quality Hardware & Machine Co
You are considering a vintage Quality Hardware & Machine Co United States M1 Carbine. It was manufactured in July 1943 with serial number 1898706. The rifle is in great shape for its age. The metal is in good condition with no major damage — no deep cuts, cracks, rust, dents, or other deformities. The red walnut stock is in fantastic shape but was refinished with a varnish, it only has a handful of minor scratches. The barrel measures 18-inches in length and includes its original front and rear sights as well as its bayonet lug. The bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling and no fouling or pitting, it nearly has a mirror finish and appears to have been barely fired. This rifle has its original buttplate, oiler, and sling. It also comes with two aftermarket KCI 15-round magazines. This is a great collector-grade M1 Carbine.
