Turkish Mauser Model 1893 7.92x57mm Bolt-Action Rifle

You are considering a vintage Turkish Mauser Model 1893 7.92x57mm Bolt-Action Rifle. It’s in fair condition for its age, with a few things to note. It appears this rifle was left to sit inside a storage container for quite a while. The barrel still had all of its cosmoline inside (and will need further cleanup, we just cleared it enough to check the bore condition), and the woodwork is solid with no damage concerns, but it doesn’t have a finish. The metalwork, however, is where things start to be not as pretty. Most everything is slightly rusted or oxidized, and that rust will need arresting. The middle barrel band seems to be the worst of all components, while the bolt and action are relatively corrosion free.

Nonetheless, the action is sound, and everything functions as it should. With proper cleaning, this rifle could come back together quickly in the right hands. The barrel measures 29.1-inches in length and includes its original front barely corn sight and rear adjustable leaf sight. The bore, as mentioned above, is covered in cosmoline still but has very strong rifling and no fouling or pitting issues.
