You are considering a vintage Tokyo Arsenal Arisaka Type 30 Bayonet (Pattern 1897). It’s in great condition and has not been sharpened. Although most of its bluing is gone, its blade’s edge and overall condition are good with no major imperfections or dents. The blade length is 15-5/8-Inches, and its overall length measures 20-Inches. As shown in the photos the wood grip has a 1/4-inch shallow divot. The scabbard is a latter pattern with a tubular end instead of a ball tip and retains about 60% of its bluing — It has a few small minor dents along with one medium size bend, however, this does not hinder its operation. This bayonet was produced in the Tokyo Hohei Kosho Arsenal. Pick it up today to add to your Arisaka collection.
