  • Markings/Details: Excluding rear sight and rear band this rifle has all matching serial numbers; Includes leather sling and cleaning rod; rear sight is an elevation adjustable leaf with “U” notch aperture and sliding elevation escalator piece, the sight flips up into ladder style sight with graduations on the opposite side, the elevation slide doubles as “V” notch aperture for ladder; please note — as shown in photos, this rifle include the front sight base but is missing the dovetail blade front sight, these come in various heights and can be found here — mention “SFG” and the SKU in checkout notes when ordering and we’ll include a sight with the rifle (while supplies last) –
  • Condition: Excellent; the metalwork retains above 90% blued finish, exhibiting minor wear and marring on the high points including some scratches near the sight base, all markings are clear and legible, all knurling throughout the rifle is sharp and crisp; the woodwork is exhibits typical minor draglines, dings, and bruising, rear of the tang and near the front band spring show very faint, interrupted surface fractures; the bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling and no corrosion, and if we are reading the “bore disc” correctly, it shows no markings inside the 1-2-3 pie shaped section which indicates the bore is “Like-New” and the “0” next the word “Overslag” indicates the high accuracy rating of the barrel; the action and all mechanics appear to function properly –
