You are considering a vintage Early-Style Smith & Wesson Adjustable Rear Micrometer Sight Leaf Sub-Assembly. This variation typically came with certain N-Frame Models like the Model 27 and other longer barrel variations. It comes with a white outline slide and does not come with the elevation nut hardware. Measures 2.540″ from slide holder and 2.085″ to center hole. The condition is Excellent, showing minimal wear. Order it today for your Pre-1992 Early-Model Smith and Wesson Revolver.
Due to the ambiguity of the early manufacturing process regarding these old-style rear sights (end of tang is squared-off instead of rounded), assigning an exact model name or frame size is challenging. K, L, and N Frame guns often utilized the same size sight; other times, it depended on specific models, calibers, or barrel lengths. When ordering, please pay close attention to two measurements of your particular firearm; the first is from the center tang screw hole to the edge of the blade holder (Please see photo for reference); the second measurement is the overall length starting from the same edge of the blade holder.
