Springfield Model 1903 Bolt-Action Rifle | WWII 1942 Remington Arms
You are considering a vintage WWII Remington Arms Springfield Model 1903 Bolt-Action Rifle. It was manufactured in 1942 with serial number 3223174. The rifle is in great shape for its age. The metal is in good condition with no major damage — no deep cuts, cracks, rust, dents, or other deformities. The walnut stock is in pristine condition with only one scratch on it, otherwise, it’s perfect. The barrel measures 24-inches in length and includes its original rear leaf sight, however, an aftermarket front sight has been attached to the front — there’s also an aftermarket Redfield peep-sight mounted to the receiver and the stock has been cut to make room for this sight — it could be removed and the wood repaired. The bore is chambered for 30-06 and is bright and shiny with strong rifling and no fouling or pitting. This rifle has its original buttplate and includes a leather sling. This is an incredible example of a Springfield 1903 that could be brought back to its original glory in the correct hands.
