  • Markings/Details: The receiver shows several flaming bomb proofs, as well as other U.S. military markings shown in photos; the barrel is a WWII rebuild as evidenced by the J.A. (Johnson Automatics) marking near the muzzle; the barrel has provisions for a front sight and the receiver is drilled and tapped for a rear receiver sight (sights are not included); this sporterized rifle features a right-hand Monte Carlo stock which includes a black rubber slip-on recoil pad –
  • Condition: Excellent; this rifle has been refinished, the top receiver showing a purple hue — all metalwork shows only minor scuffing and swirl marks on the new finish and scattered shallow pitting below the re-blue on the magazine floorplate and bolt handle; the stock shows minor impression lines, a small chip just behind the bolt, and a couple drips of varnish that need polishing; the bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling and shows minor fouling –
