Savage No. 15 Rear Sight for Savage Model 1899, 99 | 3/8"

You are considering a vintage Savage No. 15 Early Rear Sight Assembly. These sights were standard on 1899 rifles until around 1920. They are a 3/8″ dovetail and will work with the Savage Model 99 and other rifles that use this size dovetail. The condition is Very Good; considering the age, this sight retains most of the factory bluing, showing minor oxidation freckling and finish wear on the high points. The eyepiece notch has been opened up/modified, typically seen on these sights. The double-step elevator is NOT factory and may require fitting or modification to properly function.

Remember: Parts may require fitting by a trained gunsmith.
