You are considering a vintage Savage Arms Model 1920 Bolt-Action Rifle — Chambered in .250-3000 Savage; this rifle features a 22-inch length barrel, an internal 4-round box magazine, and a one-piece wood stock with hand-cut checkering and a Schnable front. It has a serrated trigger and front and rear Savage iron sights. The receiver has been drilled and tapped for a scope. Other features include a pistol grip cap, a Savage logo metal buttplate, and a sling. The sling is installed using sling attachments which are hooked through the wood stock.
These rifles were produced from 1920 o 1931. Overall the condition is considered Good; considering its age, it’s holding up quite well. The metalwork shows a gray patina throughout, with most finish wear on the barrel. The wood stock shows typical wear, scratches, and age. The bore shows minor corrosion, and the rifling is visible but not as sharp as it used to be.
