PTR-91 7.62x51mm Semi-Automatic Rifle | H&K91 Clone

You are considering a PTR-91 7.62x51mm Semi-Automatic Rifle — it’s essentially a clone of the H&K91. During the Assault Weapons Ban and George Bush Sr’s ban on H&K imports, JLD Enterprises picked up the slack and started to produce these rifles. Originally, they used Portuguese machines and tooling as well as leftover surplus parts but eventually created their own factory here in the United States and changed their name to PTR.

This rifle is an earlier example produced by JLD before their name change, and it is in floor-room-model condition with very little to concern yourself with. The metalwork’s original black finish looks nice and has no issues. Likewise, the plastic furniture is excellent with no problems. The previous owner replaced the original plastic buttstock with an AR-15-style adjustable one made by PTR. Likewise, the plastic forend was replaced with a metal Picatinny rail system, also made by PTR. The barrel measures 16-inches in length and includes its original front and rear sights. The bore is bright and shiny, with strong rifling and no fouling or pitting. This rifle is chambered for 308 Winchester (7.62x51mm) and can accept any standard H&K91 or G3 magazine.
