Pre-64 1941 Winchester Model 70 Barreled Receiver, .270 Winchester

You are considering a vintage 1941 Winchester Model 70 Barreled Receiver — Chambered in .270 Winchester; this receiver has a low serial number of 31878. The barrel measures 24-inches in length and includes the front sight. The condition is considered Fair; the metalwork shows a heavy brown patina with pitting and oxidation throughout. The barrel is in Poor condition; it appears to have a slight bend, although due to the darkness and heavy corrosion inside the bore, this bend is unconfirmed. This receiver would make a great host and, in the right hands, could go from project gun to working Classic Pre-64 Winchester Model 70 Bolt-Action Rifle.
