You are considering a Sako L579 sniper rifle. This rifle was purchased from a friend of ours who claims that it was the personal rifle of his friend that was a sniper in the CIA. We have zero paperwork to confirm this fact; however, we also have an experienced sniper on our team that has reviewed and confirmed the many build techniques of an operator’s rifle. When you review the typical detail of a purpose-built sniper rifle, you will notice the technical markings on this rifle. This includes alignment markings for mounts, mount orientation, torq specs for action screws etc. We have taken many photos for your review to see what we are speaking about. You will also notice the detail in the notes on all the extras, including the target. Each extra part is clearly marked. You will notice that the An/PVS-4 is scrubbed as well, which is typical of an operator’s rifle. This rifle may or may not have been in US service as we cannot prove that. Regardless, we are confident that it was the personal property of a member of US service and built as such.
