LeFever Nitro Special 16-Gauge Break-Action Shotgun

You are considering a vintage LeFever Nitro Special 16-Gauge Break-Action Shotgun. This is an excellent standard field-grade gun with no major standout issues or concerns. The woodwork has been refinished, but nicely so, and it features a light gloss — the checkering has faded, however, because of the refinishing process (note: the forend has a crude screw going through the side for firm attachment). The metalwork’s original finish is still present and around 75% complete — there are no patches of rust or rust pitting. The barrels measure 28-inches in length and include a solid rib with a front bead sight. The bores are bright and shiny with no fouling or pitting. The chokes come standard as improved modified. The stock was not cut down and has a length of pull of around 14-inches from the front trigger.
