You are considering a vintage L.C. Smith Grade OO Side by Side Shotgun. Chambered in 12-Gauge with 30″ Armor Steel barrels. All matching serial numbers. Manufactured in 1922 by Hunter Arms Company of Fulton, NY. This shotgun weighs 8.5 lbs and has an overall length of 47″ with a 14.5″ length of pull. It has a newly installed Old English black recoil pad with white-line spacer, and a new ivory front bead sight. The stock and forend have hand checkering. Overall, this shotgun is in fine condition; it shows honest wear and age and has solid mechanics and a tight lockup. The woodwork shows darkness, scarring, and bruising, along with a few shallow chips and small carved numbers near the pad. The metalwork shows a lighter gray patina with typical wear and marring. For the most part, the bore is in Good condition; it is bright with scattered minor corrosion near the chamber and muzzle — The right-side barrel has one small ding and a couple very faint micro dings; these can be seen from within but are in no way obstructing the bore.
