You are considering a vintage National Electric Japanese Arisaka Type 30 Mid-War Bayonet. It will mount to any of the Japanese Infantry Rifles. It’s in good condition for its age and features a fullered blade with only about 15% of its bluing remaining. The blade length is 15.6-inches, and its overall length measures just over 20-Inches. It features a straight quillon, a flat birds-head pommel, and riveted wraparound wood grips. The scabbard is in great shape for its age with about 75% of its bluing remaining and only minor denting. This bayonet was produced by the Matsushita Kinzoku KK (Matsushita Metalworking Corp.), under Kokura Army Arsenal supervision. Matsushita Kinzoku was a subsidiary of Matsushita National Denki (Matsushita National Electric Co.) — Known today as the Panasonic Corporation.
