You are considering a vintage High-Grade Mauser Gewehr 98 Sporter Bolt-Action Rifle. It was built using a standard Gewehr 98 receiver, high-grade wood, and a bull barrel. This entire build was done by a professional and is in floor room model condition. The well-figured wood is blemish free and features a right-handed comb, reduced drop heel, schnabel, and oversized pistol grip with cap. The receiver was refinished at some point to match the attached heavy barrel. The barrel measures 26.5-inches in length and does not have any iron sights. The bore is bright and shiny with good rifling and no fouling or pitting. It comes with a Bushnell scope chief 3x-9x adjustable scope and has a turned-down bolt handle.
