German WWII MG34/42 Basket Drum Magazines & Carrier

You are considering a vintage German WWII MG34/42 Basket Drum Magazines & Carrier. It’s in fair condition for its age. It appears it was initially an Afrika-Korps carrier, as the fading paint is in the tan shade they used. Nonetheless, the carrier is holding up nicely and works as it should — it has a very faint 43 marked on the right-hand side. Both basket drums are marked with “ddf” indicating it was manufactured by Lohmann-Werke, A.-G., of Bielefeld, Germany. They’re filled with Turkish 8mm ammunition on post-war belts.
