You are considering a vintage Post-War (WWI) F.L. Selbstlade Langenhan Model II 6.35mm (25 ACP) Pistol. Because of changes to the law, German companies were required to stop making military guns — In order to sell to the commercial market, they offered the Model II in .25 Caliber, which was modeled after the Model I Pistol in 7.65mm (.32 ACP). The German military and police used the Model I made between 1915-1918 through World War II. This Model II example is missing its magazine, and the included holster is broken and missing its belt loop. This pistol is considered VG +, retaining most of its original bluing; it has surface marring and pitting throughout, mostly seen on the high points. The wood grip panels feature horizontal lines and show typical wear, nicks, and marring, along with a chip to the right-hand panel rear of the trigger and a small crack on the heel. The barrel measures 4.2 inches in length. The bore has light pitting and darkness that follow the lands, but the rifling is strong.
