Custom Remington 1903A3 Bolt-Action Sporter Rifle | 35 Whelen

Custom Remington 1903A3 Bolt-Action Sporter Rifle | 35 Whelen

You are considering a vintage Custom Remington 1903A3 Bolt-Action Sporter Rifle. It was built by a professional using a standard Remington 1903A3 receiver with high-grade wood. It’s in excellent honest-wear condition. The woodwork is in good condition and has some light pockmarks towards the rear of the buttstock — otherwise, it doesn’t have any cracks, cuts, or deep scratches. The metalwork retains all of its original finish and doesn’t have any damage concerns. The barrel measures 24-inches in length and includes a nice front blade sight and rear adjustable notch sight (note: it also comes with a nice-conditioned Weaver K 2.5 scope and appropriate mount). The bore is bright and shiny with good rifling and no fouling or pitting — it would twist lead accurately. It’s chambered for 35 Whelen, not the standard 30-06 Springfield cartridge.
