You are considering a vintage Pre-Ban Chinese Norinco Type 84S-1 5.56x45mm AK-47 Rifle — This is a C.S.I. Import (China Sports International) made by Norinco at Chinese State Factory 66, as shown with the triangle 66 markings. This is an under-folder rifle; its metal buttplate folds out and its stock folds underneath the rifle, clearing an inserted 40-round magazine. It includes an extremely rare and hard-to-find 40-round magazine, along with an attached bayonet in its sheath. This rifle is in what could be described as being in floor model condition. While it is like new, it has been fired and has basic handling and use marks typical of a floor-model firearm. The metalwork is original and complete with very light usage and handling wear. Likewise, the woodwork is in great shape, with minor wear and typical small dents where the folding stock meets the hand guard. The barrel measures 16.34 inches in length and has a standard “bird-cage” style flash hider. The bore is bright and shiny with no fouling or pitting and strong rifling.
