You are considering a vintage Arisaka Type 38 Barreled Receiver & Action. This is an original Type 38 assembly chambered for the 6.5x50mmSR Arisaka cartridge. It is a Series 23 manufactured by the Kokura arsenal, and it was manufactured in 1935 with the serial number 41667. It comes assembled with its trigger and bolt body. It also includes its rear ladder sight. The mum has unfortunately been ground off, but some of the Kanji is still visible and intact. The barrel measures 31-inches in length and is the standard rifle size. The bore is bright and shiny with very strong rifling and minor fouling and pitting — it would twist lead accurately.
