You are considering a vintage 1976 Italian Single Action Black Powder Revolver. This revolver was made in 1976 by an Italian company. Its design is loosely based on the revolvers of the time in the mid-1800s like the 1860 Colt Single Action Army. It shows testing markings from the Gardone Proof House, the letter PN, which stands for Polvere Nera (Black Powder), and the markings AB inside a square which denote the date of manufacture. It is chambered in .36 caliber round ball projectiles and features a 7.5″ barrel, brass frame, and wood stocks. The cylinder shows an engraved scene with the words “Engaged 16 May 1843.” The condition is considered Fair to Good; the metal shows wear, surface pitting and minor oxidation. The stocks shows draglines and surface divots but no significant damage. The bore shows pitting, and the rifling has a fair amount of wear. It’s worth noting; this gun has some play that appears to originate in the yoke; it will require a gunsmith if planning to fire.
