1975 Remington Model 700 BDL Bolt-Action 222 Remington Rifle | Heavy Varmint Barrel

You are considering a vintage 1975 Remington Model 700 BDL Bolt-Action 222 Remington Rifle. It’s in good condition for its age with not much to concern yourself with. The nicely-figured woodwork is in fair shape with minor usage, handling, and storage wear — some sections of the finish are starting to peel, and there’s some rough scratching on the left-hand side (noted in pictures). It features a  right-handed comb and reduced drop heel. The metal is excellent, with some very light high-point and rub wear along the receiver and bolt — no patches of rust or rust pitting. The heavy varmint barrel measures 24-inches in length and does not include a front or rear iron sight, but does come with a Leupold three-by-nine power scope. The bore is bright and shiny with no fouling or pitting and strong rifling. The action is sound, and everything locks up as it should. We haven’t taken apart this gun, but the trigger looks to have been worked on and features a 2-3lb pull.
