1966 Savage Model 99E Barreled Receiver | 243 Winchester

1966 Savage Model 99E Barreled Receiver | 243 Winchester

You are considering a vintage 1966 Savage Model 99E Barreled Receiver. It’s in good condition and is chambered for the veritable 243 Winchester cartridge. The blued metalwork is around 85% complete and there are no patches of rust or rust pitting. The barrel measures 20 inches in length and does not have a front or rear sight (though the front ramp is present) — the bore is bright and shiny with good rifling and some minor fouling and pitting around the landings, mainly towards the muzzle end.
