You are considering a vintage 1964 Remington Model 700 ADL Bolt-Action 30-06 Springfield Rifle. It’s in alright condition for its age, with a few things to note. The woodwork is in fair shape with heavy usage, handling, and storage wear — large chunks of the finish are starting to peel, and there’s a hole in the top of the cheek (noted in pictures). It has a right-handed comb, reduced drop heel, and an aftermarket Whiteline buttpad. The metal is good, with some light high-point and rub wear along the receiver and bolt — no patches of rust or rust pitting. The barrel measures 24-inches in length and does not include its original front or rear iron sights, but does come with a Pentax four-by-sixteen power scope. The bore is bright and shiny with no fouling or pitting and strong rifling. The action is sound, and everything locks up as it should. We haven’t taken apart this gun, but the trigger looks to have been worked on and features a 2-3lb pull.
