1962 Browning Superposed 12-Gauge Over-Under Shotgun | Lightning Grade

1962 Browning Superposed 12-Gauge Over-Under Shotgun | Lightning Grade

You are considering a vintage Lighting Grade 1962 Browning Superposed 12-Gauge Over-Under Shotgun. The metalwork retains its factory blue and doesn’t have any patches of rust or rust pitting. There is some very light highpoint wear around the receiver and break-point as well as forward of the forend where it slides (note: it also has the previous owner’s name inscribed on the takedown lever). The woodwork is holding up nicely and has no significant damage — just light usage, handling, and storage wear with one decent gouge on the right-hand side of the forend. The barrels measure 30-inches in length and include a front bead sight with a vented rib — the top barrel features a full choke while the bottom is improved modified. The bores are bright and shiny with no fouling or pitting. The stock hasn’t been cut down, and the LOP measures 14.25-inches in length with its original buttpad. The break action and ejectors function as they should, and the shotgun locks up nice and tight. The checkering is crispy, and the engravings are mint.
